i sold this skirt to my roommie. it fits her so much better.
I just cannot get enough of looking at these pretty peplum skirts online. I have been looking for one high and low at offline boutiques but I guess the peplum trend has not hit malls yet.
I have seen so many online, but most of them are either sold out or don’t have my size. So sad 😦 Also, some are so pricey I just don’t think is worth it.
I initially saw this skirt at Dudes and Duchess but it sold out so quickly. Then, I was tempted to buy a black peplum at *We Dress You Up* but it was so expensive, RM50. Finally after long deliberation, I ordered this floral rose-printed peplum skirt from DOT.
The best thing is that I did not have to pay postage because the girl managing the blogshop, Cecilia, she agreed to do COD at Setapak. My first time doing COD and I think it is so much better than the hassle of depending on the post office. Hopefully more blogshops can agree to do COD. I think its best and safest way to get the items anyway.
I am actually very fussy when it comes to choosing a floral print. I am not a big fan of florals, find them very common and dull. But I love rose prints like these. Lately, I have been quite smitten by vintage style so this rose print suited the vintage style I am currently liking.
Now I know why everyone loves peplum skirt. Seriously, they are so cute. After trying this on, I am so tempted to get another peplum skirt. But I am so broke lately 😦
